Philadelphia Chick-fil-A worker shot by delivery driver during dispute over food order, police say

A teenager Chick-fil-A worker in Philadelphia was shot Monday night time during a dispute with a delivery driver around a food items get, authorities stated.

Officers responded just in advance of 8:30 p.m. to the supply-only restaurant on the 800 block of Adams Avenue, Main Inspector Scott Small told reporters at the scene.

Officers found a 17-year-previous male with a gunshot wound to his remaining leg. He was rushed to Einstein Clinic in stable issue.

Several staff instructed law enforcement that the cafe works by using shipping and delivery expert services to transportation food stuff orders to its customers, Smaller stated.

The workforce claimed a person supply driver argued with various staff members over the quantity of meals in the delivery buy and claimed it did not have enough foodstuff, according to Tiny.

The dispute escalated and the driver shot the 17-calendar year-aged in advance of rushing off in what Small explained as a more recent model white Mercedes. Investigators claimed the driver is believed to have at minimum just one tattoo on his neck.

The incident was caught on the restaurant’s surveillance cameras, but was not promptly launched.
