Driver explained to police he was accosted by three individuals, two who beat him when a further drove his motor vehicle absent
ALBANY — A food items supply driver was beaten and carjacked in Albany on Saturday early morning, in accordance to Albany law enforcement.
Officers responded to stories of a robbery on Peyster Street about 10:50 a.m. Saturday, law enforcement stated.
The driver told police he was generating a shipping in the neighborhood just south of the College of Saint Rose when he was approached by two males who questioned him to exit his vehicle.
When he did, a 3rd suspect entered his car and stole it, police explained.
The two suspects then punched and kicked the victim several situations — producing him to drop to the floor and maintain injuries — before escaping on foot by means of yards, police reported.
All a few suspects are described as putting on darkish-colored garments.
No even further particulars were being readily available Sunday and the investigation is ongoing, town law enforcement said.
